How we handle client information.

Client information

Access to client information is limited to the people in the firm who need it to do your work. We do not disclose client information outside the firm without your written permission, unless the law requires it.

How your data is protected

Documents, returns and messages are exchanged through our secure client portal, not ordinary email. The portal is independently audited under SOC 2 Type II and hosted on Amazon Web Services. Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit (TLS 1.2), encryption keys are rotated regularly, and the platform is monitored around the clock.

Our safeguards follow IRS Publication 4557, Safeguarding Taxpayer Data, which sets out the security practices the IRS expects of tax professionals.

Referrals

Much of our work comes from client referrals. When you refer someone to us, their personal, financial and tax information is never shared with you, and they receive the same professional treatment you do.
